What a joke comparing two tractors with one with backhoe and the other with box blade and telling you the difference. Kubota is a Kubota John Deere is a yanmar. Tim you’re a John Deere fan no question about it. Kubota is the best by far if you’re looking for quality.

Why didn’t you shake the Deere mower like you did the BX? Also, if you have a FEL just raise the front wheels of the BX tractor off the ground and roll the mower forward so you don’t have to move the scalp wheels.

There is a reason why the KUBOTA BX line is the Number One Sub Compact Tractor sold in America. The only thing I liked more about the Deere I had was the Twin Touch Pedal. I traded it in for the BX and I am not sorry. The only thing I wish my BX had was a 3 speed Hydro instead of the 2 speed High/Low. Oh, and putting the LED light bar on top of the ROPS keeps me out of the dark.

My dad has something similar on his mower and I honestly dont like it. Its really slow and cumbersome to use having to maneuver the mower along the edge. Ends up taking me twice as long as it would with my regular weed eater. Ya its less effort but its much less efficient

I wonder if the 1025 would have lifted the chipper if you didn't have the quick hitch adapter setting it back an extra 4" ? Any guesses? Thanks for sharing.

I rented a tractor and mower for my 5 acerss. Question is. The blades on the mower were not sharp. Accually were just square blanks of steel. It seemed to do a good job. But wouldint it be better if the blades were sharpened like those on a lawnmower. Just wondering

It’s a shame, because I don’t think there is anything else in this tractors category, a 25 hp electric tractor. I see a couple of big, expensive autonomous electric tractors, New Holland electric T4 and the Monarch Tractor for big, mono crop farms but nothing for a small organic family farm.

I have no idea what it's like to live in a tight nit community like that, but it sounds awesome! Sorry about your loss. May she rest in piece.

I usually make due with a wide-brimmed straw hat and a light, long-sleeved white shirt. But I do like that Curtis. Shame the JD ROPS is so high.

I just added a 12' x 32' garage/shed to house my 1025R and as many attachments as I can wedge in. I've decided to make dollys for all the heavy attachments (56" Simco tiller, 48" box blade, & Stump Wrecker out of pairs of 30" furniture dollys and 1 x 6" boards, and use castered scaffolding that can pass over the dollys with the shelf holding the lighter attachments on "thinned" pallets or just as is. My 48" rotary cutter has 4 three-wheeled dollys and the FEL has a set of Peter's Loader Dollys. My Heavy Hitch weight bracket has it's own dolly for that and the suitcase weights and my mower deck has a vertical Heavy Hitch cart. That way I can move everything on casters to swap around for what is needed. Kind of like those puzzles with the flat tiles you slide around to solve the jumbled-up image.

So would you recommend this front attachment set up over the rear 3 point auger? I’m buying one just for planting arborvitae’s and small trees.

How do you isolate the steering hydraulics so you can drive a broken backhoe home?
